Photo Filters: Going old school

Almost forgotten in the arsenal of Photoshop is a very traditional tool for removing or creating color casts. An old fashioned colored filter was just the thing to put on your lens back when we were all still using film. Thankfully, you can use an adjustment layer to do this now! It's quick, it's easy and it does a pretty decent job too.

You tutorials are great.

I wish you add a flash based version as well for browsers with no quicktime.

Thanks.

I have recently started to "play" around with some of the features in CS2 and I come to this site time after time. Have watched all the tutorials several times and its been a fabulous push up the "learning curve". Have learned so much and am really pleased with some of the results of my own projects. Would recommend this site to anyone who wants to take the pain out of getting good with Photoshop.

You've got the best Photoshop tutorials on earth and you're a great teacher. These tutorials are simple enough for a 12-year-old Finnish girl to understand (like me!) but still the results are spectacular. Thanks so much!
